INTIMATIONS                                           Sunday 20th November 2011

 

Sunday:   11.00 Morning Service.  Girls’ Brigade & Boys’ Brigade Enrolment Service with a Retiring Offering for Company Funds. 

The Sacrament of Baptism will be administered during the Service.

Crèche, KIDZONE, Genesis Group.

The Congregation are invited for a cup of Tea and Fellowship in the Hall after the Morning Service.

Monday:  Meet and Eat meets at 1.00pm in the Hall.  All welcome.

Girls' Brigade meets from 6.30pm.

 

Tuesday: The Guild is holding a Musical Scottish Evening with Supper in the Church Hall at 7.30pm.  Tickets priced £5 Adults; £2 Children available from Guild Members or at the Door.  Proceeds towards Guild Projects. (See Poster for Details)

 

Wednesday:  There will be a meeting of the Future Focus Committee in the Church Hall at 7.30pm.  The meeting is open to all who have an interest in the Future Focus of Trinity Church.

We are looking for men to help decorate the Church Hall for the Christmas Bazaar from 6:30pm!!

 

Thursday: ‘Riverside Tots’ meets form 9.30 – 11.00am. 

Vestry Hour 7.00 – 8.00pm.    Choir Practice meets from 7.15 to 8.15pm.

 

Friday:  Anchor Boys & Junior Section of Boys’ Brigade meets at 6.00pm. Company Section at 7.30pm

 

Looking Ahead

 

Sunday 27th November:  11.00am Morning Service.  The Service will be conducted by Mrs Jean Boyd.

 

Sunday 20th November:  There will be an informal family Church Service to celebrate the switching on the Inverness Christmas Lights at the Old High Church at 6.30pm.

 

Wednesday 23rd November:  Homeless Action Inverness is holding a consultation

event in Trinity Church Hall from 11.00am – 2.00pm   HAI would love for people to come along and share their experiences of homelessness.  HAI is a forum made up of representatives of New Start Highland, Albyn Housing Society, Calman Trust, Cairn Housing Association, Highland Homeless Trust and local private landlords.

 

Wednesday 23rd November:  Changeworks and the Scottish Government are running a free event for community organisations about the UK Government’s Green Deal scheme at SCVO, Fairways House from 11.30am – 4.00pm. The Green Deal will completely transform the UK’s approach to making homes more energy efficient.

Sunday 27th November 2011:   PUPPET TRAINING EVENT WITH “OUT OF THE BOX  6.30 pm to 8.30 pm. At Beauly Church Hall. There is no charge for this event but you must register with Rev Edgar Ogston at edgar.ogston@macfish.com   (01463-782260).  There is space for fifteen participants.

 

Sunday 27th November 2011:   Highland Hospitals Christmas Carol Concert Eden Court Theatre at 3.00pm.  In Aid of Clic Sargent Scotland.

 

2012 Flower Calendar:  The 2012 Flower Calendar is available in Vestibule for anyone from the congregation wishing to put flowers in the Church on a Sunday.  Alternatively you can give money for Church Flowers to Mrs Kathleen MacPherson.

 

Saturday 26th November:  Trinity Church Annual Christmas Bazaar will take place in the Halls from 10.00am – 12.00 noon & 2.00 – 4.00pm.    In order to make it successful, we need donations and are calling on our Trinity friends to help. We will have the usual stalls of Bric-a-brac, cakes and sweets, gifts (new), books, toys, Santa’s Grotto, and of course the tearoom where you can sit and relax.  If you have any donations that you are willing to contribute to the Church or to any of the stalls, please bring them to the Church on Thursday, November 24th or Friday November 25th and we would be most grateful! This is the big fundraiser of the year, and we count on everybody to make it a great day!! Thank you for your support!  If you have donations and need them uplifted please call Heidi Hercus (Fundraising Convener) on 07949628877, and we will make arrangements to collect!

 

Trinity News: Items for the Christmas issue of Trinity News should be forwarded to Bill Fraser or Iain Macdonald by Sunday 27th November.

 

Wednesday 14th December:  Women in Spirit will be having their Christmas Dinner at the British Legion at 7:30pm. Ladies please meet in the British Legion for 7:00pm. Menus are available - total cost £18 (this includes refreshment and tip) deposit £5 due by 4th December.  ALL WELCOME.

 

 

 

All Intimations to be included for a Sunday must be forwarded to Mr I. Macdonald by Thursday 8.00pm.
