Tonight:  will be the last Evening Service until 7th September.  Evening Services are discontinued for the summer months of July and August.  

 

Morning cup of Tea and Fellowship will also stop for July and August.

 

Tonight:  MODERATOR AT OLD HIGH SUMMER EVENING SERVICE.   The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Rt. Rev. David Lunan, will be guest preacher at an evening service at 8pm in the Old High Church. Mr Lunan is Clerk to the Presbytery of Glasgow. There will be a chance to meet him over tea after the service. The remaining summer guest preachers this year are: The Very Rev Dr Finlay Macdonald, Principal Clerk of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland on Sunday 17 August; and The Very Rev Mark Strange, Episcopal Bishop of Moray, Ross and Caithness on Sunday 31 August (all at 8pm). Church of Scotland Annual Review: This review was launched at the General Assembly and has been produced to show how much the whole organization of the Church achieves locally, regionally and internationally.  There is also an overview of how the Church’s income is raised and spent.  Copies of the review are available in vestibule.
