Chocolate Challenge

Congratulations to all the girls who raised £50 for Children in Need and GB Scotland at our Chocolate Challenge.

Fraser Trophy

For the Divisional competition this year, we have been asked to tidy up an area of our community and put in a small project / photos to show what has been done. Thanks for the suggestions – we walked round looking at the areas and have decided on the Community Garden behind the Corbett Centre.  This will also count towards the girls’ badgework so please keep the afternoon of 23rd February free.

  Junior Camp

Each year the P7 girls are invited to attend the Divisional Junior Camp – sometimes P6 girls can attend if there is space. This year we’re trying a new venue at Roy Bridge on 25th to 27th April. Separate information will be given to the girls concerned.

Divisional Service

The girls from all the companies in Highland meet together for a Divisional Service each year. This year we are meeting at Trinity Church on Sunday 9th March at 10.45 in full uniform – we can provide skirts if any girls don’t have a school skirt. This is a good chance for girls to meet other Girls Brigade companies.

Please mark this on your calendar – moreinformation will be given out nearer the time.

  Adult helpers
We are still very short of helpers for Monday nights. There are a couple of kind mothers who have said they are willing to help occasionally but we do need a few more.  If you can help, even occasionally, please let us know on the slip below.

Explorers Teddy Bear Picnic

The Division are arranging social events for the different sections and this year is the Explorers turn. They are invited to take their teddies to East Church Hall on 1st March from 12.30 to 3.00 for an afternoon of fun and games. Last year the Brigaders were invited to a Pamper evening so next year it’ll be the Juniors turn. Separate slips will be given to the Explorers.

If you have any concerns or questions, please speak to any helper or phone
